the historic James Beard House in New York City are dedicated to preserving that

Throughout his life, he pursued and advocated the highest standards, and served as a mentor to emerging talents in the field of the culinary arts. He established the James Beard Cooking School and wrote many classic American cookbooks. With his dedication to great food, his name became synonymous with American cuisine and culinary excellence. |
