Autumn Apple Chops

A crisp fall day and a hot apple and pork chop dish - they just seem to go together. Lightly floured pork chops brown up nicely and the apple flavor makes the combination delightfully mellow. Serve with fresh crisp green beans and cornbread stuffing.

Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 8 Minutes

Ingredients:

4 Smithfield Lean Generation top loin pork chops
1 T. flour
2 t. butter
1/2 sliced onion
1 c. apple juice

Steps:

Season flour with a little salt and pepper; lightly flour pork chops and brown on one side in butter in non-stick skillet over medium heat. Turn chops; stir in onion and apple juice; bring to a boil lower heat cover and simmer for 7-8 minutes.
