Baked Ham with Honey-Apricot Glaze

A sweet glaze is a natural partner for ham and this one’s no different. Except for the apricots that is. Their sweet mellow taste gives this glaze its distinction. And the ham? It’s always distinctive when it’s a genuine Smithfield Premium.

Cooking Time: 90 Minutes

Ingredients:

1 10- to14-pound Smithfield Lean Generation spiral-sliced fully-cooked smoked ham
1 c. honey
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. apricot jam
1/2 t. ground nutmeg
1/4 t. ground cloves

Steps:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place ham on rack in shallow roasting pan. Mix together remaining ingredients in medium bowl; set aside. Bake ham for 30 minutes; pour glaze over ham and continue to bake until ham is heated through about a total of 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
