Barbecued Pork

Want to please a big crowd? Pull out the slow-cooker. Preparing your own pork barbecue isn’t hard at all. Not when you have a tender boneless pork loin and a surprise ingredient in your sauce.

Cooking Time: 360 Minutes

Ingredients:

2 pound Smithfield Lean Generation boneless pork loin
1 onion chopped
3/4 c. cola carbonated beverage
3/4 c. barbecue sauce
8 sandwich buns

Steps:

Combine all ingredients except buns in a 4-quart slow-cooker; cook covered on high for 5-6 hours until very tender. Drain and slice or shred pork; serve on buns with additional barbecue sauce if desired.
